Amazing Siuslaw Forest Logging Roads from Waldport Oregon, both paved and unpaved! 100% adventure for the abomination route (60 Miles) or Son of Abomination (37 Miles) 60% road and 40% Gravel

June 2nd, 2018

While some choose to ride fast and test their endurance, by definition, a Gran Fondo is not a race, but rather a mass start event designed to draw the community together and give everyone a chance to enjoy the fun of riding a bike on the same course as the pros. It is truly a ride for everyone! At The Oregon Gran Fondo, teams and individuals, who want to ride, will do that on the 117-mile Gran route or ride the 71 mile Medio Route. New is the 42 Mile Picollo and for that adventure cyclist the 137 Mile Sherman Route!

Simply stunning riding in the Pacific Northwest and what made logging and industry king in the pacific northwest. My family came to Oregon in 1959 to live this dream and the dream continuues with amazing forest roads and a great community in Oakridge. You may want to bring your mountain bike to ride the next day after this gravel grinding extraveganza.
